1993-1998 Grand Cherokee drain problem. Passenger side carpet wet?

The drain tube on the Grand Cherokee is on the passenger side of the vehicle. The drain exits into the subframe of the Jeep. The water will drain from the frame near the center of the vehicle. If the drain is clogged the you can do the following steps to fix the problem.

1. Pull the carpet down on the passenger side foot area. Locate the drain in the evaporator housing. Water may get on the carpet, place something on the floor.
2. Drill a 1/4 inch hole in the center of the drain tube housing. Clear the drain with a wire or coat hanger. Insert the wire through the hole and into the drain tube. 
3. Scrape the foam from behind the drain housing area. Fill this area with black RVT silicone. 
4. Either insert a plug (see below) or use a two part epoxy to fill the hole.
