Complete air conditioning and heating system for a Jeep CJ with a small block Chevy engine (Vbelt Only). This is a complete air conditioning kit that will add a/c and heat to a CJ. If your CJ has a faulty heater, or no heater this is the kit to replace all the old parts under the dash. The kit requires the removal of the entire heating system that is behind the dash. The kit is designed to work with R-134a refrigerant. If your engine has a compressor already mounted on the engine please see the CJ kit no compressor. The defrost is a diffuser we add to the evaporator / heating unit that allows the duct hose to run to the original defrost outlets. **WE WILL NEED TO KNOW IF YOUR CJ HAS A LONG OR SHORT WATER PUMP, AND WHICH SIDE OF THE ENGINE THE ALTERNATOR IS ON. PLEASE PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION WHEN ORDERING.** A long water pump will have a one inch gap between the timing cover and the back of the water pump. A short pump will sit flush against the timing cover. The kit includes: Brand new v-belt compressor with oil, and clutch assembly, Parallel flow condenser, Oring drier, Compressor brackets with bolt kit, and directions, High low pressure switch, Evaporator unit with heater, mounting hardware, controls, heater control valve, and expansion valve, A/C hoses, All necessary hardware for installation, Directions. The kit can be installed in one day, and includes all the necessary parts except the refrigerant to charge it, and the heater hoses. This a/c system is the most complete available in the aftermarket, and is guaranteed to be the highest quality. Please keep in mind that the under dash is a universal style unit that may require additional modifications to the brackets to secure it under your dash. If you are uncomfortable with this please let us know and we can recommend other alternatives. If you do not have the factory fan shroud it is highly recommend that you install an auxiliary condenser fan. We have those listed for sale as well.
